Make Lam's last wish come true

Donation protected
On February 13th 2018, as the world was getting ready for Valentine's Day, the day in which people celebrate their love for one another, two people lost the love of their lives, Nguyet lost her husband and Jeffrey lost his father, Lam To.

Lam was one of the most gentle, kind and genuine people I know.  We worked together in a pharmacy and although we didn't get to work together a whole lot, every encounter with Lam left an imprint on my heart.  Lam was a man with few words.  He always carried about his duty quietly; however, he always greeted everyone he came across with a genuine smile on his face.

The last day when he was at work, he volunteered to work for a co-worker even though he was not feeling well.  Thursday February 1st of this year marked the last day Lam was at the pharmacy.  Lam passed away less than 2 weeks from the day he got the flu.

Lam left behind his beloved wife and his sweet son Jeffrey.  He was a dedicated husband and father.  This sweet little family did everything together.  They usually went to the beach on Saturday mornings for a walk.  Lam played the guitar, so in their spare time, the family gathered around where Lam would play the guitar and his wife would sing while their son sat next to them enjoying the sweet time with his parents.

Lam and his wife had a very humble lifestyle where they would give up many luxuries and made countless sacrifices to put Jeffrey in private school.  Sweet little Jeffrey has a very fragile nature, therefore, Lam and Nguyet would prefer for him to be in a smaller and nurturing  school  setting.  A few months before he passed away, Lam was researching and gathering information about the schools for Jeffrey  since he will be going into high school this upcoming year.  Lam and Nguyet were both aware the cost of private school for high school would be significantly more; however, concerned about their child's welfare, they knew it would be best to keep Jeffrey in private school.
Lam was ready to work harder and cut more out of his life to make this dream possible.

Unfortunately, his dream might be left unfulfilled since he left them behind so suddenly.  When Jeffrey visited Lam at the hospital and realized how serious his dad's condition was, he approached his mom with the idea that he should be taken out of private school because he didn't want her to spend too much for his education.  Knowing Nguyet, she would do everything in her power to keep Jeffrey in private school as this was Lam's wish before he passed away.  But that would put a further strain on their financial hardship.

With the pain of losing his dad  still so fresh in his heart, the last thing Jeffrey should worry about is how his widowed mom is going to pay for his education or moving into a completely different school environment where he does not know any friends.

Let's help Jeffrey get through school without financial worries, help Nguyet lessen the heavy burden on her shoulders and help fulfill Lam's last wish.
