Make Christmas Special for a Vicenza Family Home

The Sergeant Morales Club, a nonprofit organization ran by Non Commisioned Officers in the US Army, is determined to partner with local organizations that are making an impact in the community of Vicenza, Italy. The SMC recently made a connection with SOS Villaggi dei Bambini Vicenza, a local family home and nonprofit organization.

For Christmas, we are committed to a Christmas Gift Drive that would benefit SOS Villagi dei Bambini. They are a "family home," (casa famiglia) which welcomes children and young

people who are temporarily experiencing family difficulties.All their children are entrusted to the social service of the municipality of residence which is in close collaboration with the Juvenile Court of Venice that issues a removal decree. As a result they go to SOS Village dei Bambini.

They currently have 6 family homes that host 6 children each, a mother-child

community that hosts up to 6 families (natural mothers with their children),

an autonomy project for children over 18 and two shelter homes. Each child will make a wish list for Christmas, and we will deliver a gift based on budget and availability. Your kind contribution will go a long way to make Christmas very special for these kids. Any excess funds will go directly to SOS Villagi dei Bambini Vicenza.
