Hi, My name is Emma Schulman, the director, writer, and producer of this project. This film is about What would have happened had a fate occurred for a German resistance fighter, and her lover, a former nazi sympathizer, changes the lives of those connected to them forever, in both the past and present.

This will specifically focus on Elisabeth Wust and Felice Schragenheim. Elisabeth Wust and Felice Schragenheim met in 1943 in Germany, it would be the start of what was their tragic love story as Felice was caught and murdered during her time with the resistance against nazis. But what if she and others like her got to live? This explores this as well as how other women’s lives both in the past and in the present would have been affected if this changed.

The reason why this film is important to me is that even though lesbians love film, the film has not always loved us back. There are very few films that allow us to have happy endings. Film can allow us to imagine a world where happy endings are possible. This film is also important to me because of my Jewish heritage. We rarely talk about LGBTQ+ people about the Holocaust, which is what this film would allow us to do.
