This is about Gemma and Thomas.
Gemma is a young mum with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
That’s a debilitating condition that the collagen in her body is faulty!
She’s currently in hospital NOW, with possible sepsis after an operation has failed.
Thomas is her 6 young old son, fighting Leukaemia.
She’s currently had council come in and do work for damp and mould, and now needs her home fixing to be able to bring her son home to a safe, clean, healthy environment.
Christmas I coming up too. And with the illnesses they both facing, barely any support, and having two extremely isolating condition, this mum and son NEED help.
Donations will go directly to mum and son for anything they need.
Ppl hav offered to do work, cook, clean, etc. But to sustain this lengthy battle, these two many need a back up pot. For disability aids, hotel/hospital stays. Carers when mum needs help as EDS can mean she dislocates multiple times a day!!
Joints just pop in n out. And her bladder and bowels hav stopped working meaning her op she’s just had failed and is now in hospital under emergency care, with emergency care for her son!
So please help make this little family have a home for Christmas! No one deserves support more right now. That these two fighting the hardest battles!!
