Join us to honor Major Rick Gannon who was killed in Iraq in 2004. A recipient of the Silver Star, Rick was born and raised in Escondido California, where he and his wife Sally raised 4 children. The city of Escondido is honoring Rick on the 20th anniversary of his death (April 17th) with the installation of a bronze bust which will be placed in City Hall. Military History Institute has commissioned the bust, and we need to raise an additional $20,000 to defray the cost of the monument. 100% of the funds received will go toward this project, with no administrative overhead costs.
