Hurricane Maria Relief
Donation protected
Our family, like so many others, has been severely impacted by Hurricane Maria. Our extended family is in Puerto Rico, trying to survive the aftermath of one of the strongest Hurricanes to ever hit the island. Puerto Rico's economy is virtually entirely depended on tourism. Our family is no different. With the devastation, there are no tourists visiting and therefore there is no work. Our hardworking family has no means of taking care of themselves. They have no water and no power. The U.S. Postal Service is not sending mail to Puerto Rico. If we are going to help our family, we physically need to go to the Island ourselves ASAP. We can only bring what we can carry on a plane which eliminates things like a gas generator. We are asking for help to bring as much clothing and food as possible, help with repairs to the house, a generator, as well as the cash they need to pay for the gas they need to cook. This fund with also support the families in the neighborhood who don't have outside help. The fund's beneficiary is my sister Natalie Pauwels and she will be using the fund to buy all the supplies we will be bringing to Puerto Rico. Thank you all so much for your help.
