The Wardrobe: Treasure Valley is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides customized clothing orders at no charge to Idaho's youth in foster and kinship care.
Annually, we host a Christmas Program for Idaho's youth in foster and kinship care.
What is the Christmas Program?
The Wardrobe: Treasure Valley's Christmas Program provides foster and kinship children with Christmas gifts based on their wishlists. The children create wishlists of gifts they'd like to receive and then we seek sponsors, from the community and partnerships with other organizations, to sign-up and purchase the items.
After all of the items are collected, we host a volunteer wrapping party to ensure the gifts are ready for pick-up. This is a very special program to us as many times these are the only Christmas gifts the children receive. This program ensures that all of our children have something special to open Christmas morning.

While we try our best to find sponsors for each item requested that is not always possible. Sometimes we have people sign up to sponsor items but then they don't actually drop off the items to us. Occasionally, we have children enter care after the wishlist submission deadline and then we don't have enough time to find sponsors for their items. There are times where the items dropped off to us are not the correct size or item.
We use all of the funds we raise to purchase any missing items to ensure that every child has something special to open Christmas morning.
Donations are used for the following:
- Purchase the children's missing wishlist items
- Purchase gift wrapping supplies
Donate today to make a lasting impact and provide these youth with something special to open Christmas morning!
