Maggie's Stomatitis Oral Surgery
Donation protected
This sweet little baby was rescued from the cold in early November. It was clear she wasn't being fed or cared for. Within a few weeks of living with us she gained over a pound (which is a lot for a cat!)
After a vet appointment we learned she has an oral disease called Stomatitis, which is an extremely painful chronic inflammation of the mouth. The main treatment for stomatitis is to remove the teeth. We're starting with her "cheek teeth" (the 14 teeth behind her canines) and hoping she won't need all of her teeth removed.
Throughout all of this Maggie has remained the sweetest, most loving kitty. We're so lucky to have her!
