Help Maggie and Zoey move up North

Maggie (6-7 yrs) and her little sister Zoey (4-5 yrs) two full-blooded Chocolate Labs need your help. They came into the shelter together and very bonded to each other. Unfortunately, they both tested positive for heartworms- A common disease spread by mosquitos- it can easily kill a dog, but is also very treatable.

These two beautiful, happy, obedient and highly adoptable girls stole the hearts of the shelter workers. Unfortunately, because of the heartworms- their chances of making it into the adoption area of the shelter were slim- But the shelter workers were not going to let these two beautiful sisters, with such amazing souls , be another statistic of humans letting down their best friend. A foster home was found for BOTH girls, and Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge agreed to take the sisters into their adoption program with one caveat : The foster will raise the money to pay for heartworm treatment.

This is where our friends, family, and dog-loving public come in. We need your help- Please. If you could just spend 30 seconds with these happy, loving souls and see for yourself how loving they are- you wouldn't have one reservation. They deserve a second chance.

ANY amount will help us reach our goal, and sharing their story will help even more. Please know that all the money will go directly to the treatment of Maggie and Zoey. The faster we can raise the money, the faster they can be saved. Any left over funds will go directly to another dog to save from heartworms. I appreciate your help so very much- I will update you, and post videos so you can feel the love yourself . Who knows, maybe YOU are their next family. I thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for saving these sweet incredible souls.

I wish their story ended with their wonderful new home with Ms Sharon- but I guess everything happens for a reason- We feel that after an exhaustive search to find the right home for these two special girls, they would have a much better chance for a home in my home state of Massachusetts -We have chosen The Buddy Dog Humane Society of Sudbury to take on the very important task of placing the girls finally in their forever home. And they are more than willing to help us- They have a line-up of wonderful adopters waiting for their chance to adopt two gorgeous labs like Maggie and Zoey- Now- We need your help, one more time- The girls will be traveling on the amazing Rescue Road Trips   rescueroadtrips.com - A fantastic Transport for homeless dogs- The total amount for both dogs is $370 - I'm hoping to raise this amount, which I KNOW in my heart will get them to the home they have been waiting for . Again, from the bottom of my heart- THANK YOU for loving these wonderful girls..
