It's Been a Long Time Coming

Dear friends & family,

I'm working on a CD - finally!  I graduated Berklee College of music in the 80's, played for white water rafting companies in the 90's and have performed for decades now.  A lot has changed in music over that time! These days most musicians rely on platforms like Gofundme in order to keep the music flowing.  It's really hard for me to ask for your help; but recording my songs means so much to me creatively, spiritually and professionally and I simply can't do it any other way. I'm reaching out to make it happen and I believe it will positively impact me professionally. Those who know me well, know I've waited a long time to do this project and I have so many songs I hope to share!

This project is underway and will be produced by the amazingly talented ethnomusicologist, Nat Keefe of Hot Buttered Rum! I'm over the moon about the fine musicians we have booked for early October! More on them soon! The studio is none other than Tiny Telephone,  http://www.tinytelephone.com/ and the engineer is John Vanderslice!

We will need to cover various expenses including tracking & overdubs, mixing, mastering, photography, artwork,  printing of CDs/EPs, shipping, marketing, & most importantly paying Nat & the musicians for their mastery and time. It's roughly $1300 per song.

The amount of songs we record will depend completely on how much money is raised, hence it will become a short EP or longer CD. If you want to contribute please donate and share my link with friends. I can't thank you enough for your help towards accomplishing this long awaited goal!
