Help Restore The Magdalene Cottage: A Sacred Healing Space in Glastonbury

A very special place exists at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, a site rich in history and spiritual energy — The Magdalene Cottage. Once a thriving sanctuary for healing and heart energy, this property has been a beacon of light and transformation for many over many years. Unfortunately, due to disrepair, it is no longer the vibrant space it once was, yet the site is a national treasure emanating the Magdalene Lineage and frequency.

The Magdalene Cottage is a charitable trust property of the White Flame Trust, charity number 326760, nestled amongst sacred trees and orchards at the foot of Glastonbury Tor. Steeped in magic and history, this land was once revered by the ancient high druids and believed to be a sanctuary for Mary Magdalene, where she emanated her teachings in the British Isles.

The cottage has served as a healing space for those in need, offering workshops and retreats designed to reconnect individuals with nature and their hearts. However, following the passing of Isis Livingstone, the beloved spiritual teacher who led the center, the space fell into disrepair. The White Flame Trust is now committed to restoring this sacred site, not only to preserve its historical and spiritual significance but to again offer a sanctuary for all who seek healing.

We urgently need your help to raise £30,000 to repair and restore the property. Funds will go toward:

•⁠ ⁠Roof repairs– essential to prevent further damage and maintain the integrity of the cottage.

•⁠ ⁠Windows and doors including lintels – to restore the beauty and function of the building.

•⁠ ⁠Tree surgery– necessary to care for the sacred trees and maintain the garden’s vibrancy.

-Paving and stone work– to improve the pathways and ceremonial spaces, including the sacred fire pit and fairy spiral.

Our volunteers and resident caretakers have already begun working hard on the property and gardens. Areas for the ceremonial bell tent, the Quan Yin Temple of crystal sound, and the Buddha Lawn are being cleared. These spaces will host crystal healings, sound activations, and teachings of the White Flame and The Sisters of Avalon.

The White Flame Trust is now resolute upon restoring this beautiful cottage, sacred site and healing garden to a positive healing space for people to experience this incredible energy and sanctuary.

The Quan Yin Temple of crystal sound and the Buddha Lawn has already started to be cleared and we will be able to receive individuals for crystal healing, sound activations, White Flame teachings and Sisters of Avalon Teachings.

We intend to honour the memory and healing space that began many years ago and restore the cottage and garden to its former glory, offering holistic workshops, healing therapies, shamanic heart healing ceremonies and Avalon priestess gatherings to those who come to this sacred place of stillness and the Sanctuary of the Heart. Some new roses for the trellises have been donated recently and there is so much more we would like to do with the garden spaces.
