Maga's (Pauline Ryan's) Cancer Care

Our Maga.
Calleigh gave her that name when Pauline wanted to be called Grandma - but her first grand daughter couldn't say it correctly and Maga was born. Paul (as she's also lovingly called) has 4 grandchildren, one wonderful son and a daughter by marriage, a son in law and a daughter in law added to the mix as well.
Her husband Brent loves her and she's his life. She supports, loves and cares for him greatly in return.
Today she was diagnosed with Cancer. That dirty word and nasty disease is living in our family now and we're going to work to kick it's butt. Paul is going to have to work really hard at beating this. She'll spend 4-5 months in hospital in the hopes that Chemo will send her into remission. If not - stems cells are the next option. A very long road. But she IS going to kick some serious Leukemia ASS.
Brent does not have an option at his workplace to take paid leave. Pauline wasn't working either. I'm hoping to give them some room to breathe with this campaign. An option to spend some time togther without worrying too much about the bills at home. At least this way Brent can be there for his wife when she needs him. Maybe only a day or two a week but it's something.
Family is everything. Ensuring we do everything we can for Maga is going to be our biggest focus over the next 1/2 year and we ARE going to help her kick the crap out of this. So please; help us take some of the pressure off by giving, even just a little, so hubby and wife can support eachother through this tough time.
