Madrassa on verge of closing due to venue costs

Our local community madrassa in Barking Riverside is on the verge of immediate closure due to high rental costs!
For the last 8 years we have been running a grass roots Madrassa that lies at the heart of our growing community. Prior to Covid, we carried out our teaching in a local community centre as we do not have a Masjid, but we have now been informed that in order to continue, we will need to pay a significant fee.
We have challenged this, raised this with local councillors and politicians and negotiated as much as we can. We are now at the stage where even with the subsidised rate that has been offered, as a non-profit generating initiative, we cannot meet the costs without financial support.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."
Everyone can play a part in fulfilling the Islamic education of our children who are the next generation of this Ummah. By donating, you will be able to share in this Baraka and reward in sha Allah.
We kindly request your financial assistance to help keep our local madrassa open by contributing to the yearly costs of hiring the venue. Without these contributions, our Madrassa will not be sustainable and the loss of it will really impact our local community and the families we serve.
Our sole aim is teaching our Deen to our children and ensuring that the Qur'an is continuously in the hearts, minds and the tongues of our future ummah in sha Allah.
