Hearing Aids for Maddox

Maddox is a rambuncsious, loving three old.
He's like many other boys his age. He likes dinosaurs, Spider-Man, and Curious George. He also loves hockey and is quite the good skater. As a Coloradian, of course the Avalanche is his favorite team.Varlomov, Holden, and McKinnon are his favorite players. He also loves animals and has always been very gentle with all of his furry friends. However, there is something different about Maddox than most three year olds. He suffers from High Frequency Hearing Loss. His speech has really suffered as a result. And while he does talk, it isn't very inteligible. Many of his words are just a step above babble. We say it's his very own special langauge. It can be very frustrating to deciphyer what he's trying to say, but he has always been very patient with us and repeated himself over and over again until we solve the problem. 



There's a solution, though! If Maddox can get hearing aides, it's predicted that he'll pick things up quickly and be speaking just like all the other kids his age. He'll be able to start pre-school with all the other children and spread the joy that is Maddox to the whole world! Unfortunately, they are expensive and our health insurance does not cover them.
