Maddie’s Brain Tumor Battle

Madison Moore, age 9, has a very rare Bilateral Thalamic Tumor, which is located on the thalamus (center) of her brain. The tumor is inoperable and cannot be removed.  Since the tumor is so rare there are very few hospitals that are willing/capable of treating Madison.   The team of doctors are currently devising a plan on how to treat her so she can live her life to the full potential that God has planned for her.  We have faith that the medical team will do everything in their power to give her every opportunity that she deserves.  Madison is located at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt lake City, Utah. Madison and her family currently live in Great Falls, Montana, where her father, Tyler Moore, is serving in the United  States Air Force.  Melissa and Tyler  began their military journey as a family of two and have grown into a beautiful family of five during their 13 year career in the Air Force.  Madison is the first born of  3 children and is currently in the battle of her life  with this aggressive tumor.  As family and friends of the Moore family we ask for your help.  Melissa and Tyler need to be by Madison's side every step of the way, but they are going to have to balance their time taking care of Raegan (6) and Jackson (2).  They are currently 571 miles away from their two youngest children, which is why we are reaching out to friends and family for help.  Financial burdens due to travel/lodging expenses should be the least of their worries in such a stressful time.  They would like to give Raegan and Jackson a sense of normalcy in this very difficult time.   The normalcy can only be achieved by flying to and from their home in Montana and back to Madison in Utah.  So if you could find it in your hearts to give whatever you can to this family it would be greatly appreciated as this journey has only just begun.
