Macayla's fund for a Handicap van

Hi I have a 18 year old daughter named Macayla. She was diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) when she was a sweet little baby. She is unable to take care of any of her physical needs and is confined to a wheelchair. We depend on her wheelchair van to be able to transport her. Our 15 year old wheelchair van has served us well. This last year has been a bit of a money pit for us and has finally given up on us. And now we are vanless and unable to transport her ourselves.
Macayla is such a happy teen who just loves spending time with her family. She is always smiling and laughing. She's so simple that a trip to the mall just to window shop pleases her. As long as she gets to spend the time with her family. This summer we were able to take her to the Strong Museum of Play and she was able to join us on the Ride for Roswell. This is just a few of the things she has done over the summer with us. Now our biggest worry is if we had a emergency we would be unable to transport her.
A new wheelchair van can cost anywhere from $40,000 to $50,000. We are unable to get any type of funds or grants for a wheelchair accessable van. We aren't looking for a new van but we are looking for a reliable van. We are looking for your help and support to raise enough to get Macayla a reliable wheelchair van. All donations will be used for the purchase of a wheelchair accessable van for Macayla.
