My Mom and Stepdad need your help.
My stepdad, Mac Caldwell, had a stroke this past Tuesday, September 26th, 2017. He was Life-Flighted to Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently in the Neuro ICU.
He has been in and out of the hospital since September 16th, but this time, it's for real. He had surgery earlier today, September 29th. His road to recovery is currently in an unknown state. We don't know how long it will take, nor what it will look like.
He and my Mom are both out of work during this major life event. They live and work 2 hours west of Nashville in Paris. They don't have paid time off. My Mom works at Designs Unlimited. When she doesn't work, she doesn't get paid. And this is Mac's second lengthy hospital stay since the 16th.
My Mom is the most generous and loving person I have ever met. I call her my angel on earth. She's my prayer warrior. She would never ask for help and neither would my Stepdad. But I'm asking.
