Help Carole beat cancer

Donation protected
My cousin, Carole Solomon Hanedanian, has dedicated her life to helping others. A single mom, she has worked the last three decades as a social worker near Boston, helping to make life better for everyone from abused children to seniors needing health care. Kind, compassionate and full of energy, Carole is a walking example of what it means to live a life serving others.

For the first time in her life, Carole needs our help.

She was diagnosed just a few weeks ago with Stage 4 lung cancer and has been forced to quit her job to focus on treatment. She started both chemo and immunotherapy last week and is facing this challenge with the same courage she exhibited when she responded to numerous late night calls summoning her to social work crises.

But her medical bills are soaring. And we want Carole to focus her attention entirely on fighting the battle of her life, spending quality time with her three amazing children, and cheering on her beloved New England Patriots, not worrying about the checkbook.

We're trying to raise $50,000 to cover her medical expenses. All the money will go to medical bills, and any remaining funds will be donated to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute , whose compassionate medical staff is caring for Carole right now.

If you can help in any small way, it will make a major impact for a public servant who made a big difference in lots of other lives.
