Mother and Son Lose Everything in Fire

On February 24 my dear friend and her four-year-old son lost their home. As she was putting her little guy to sleep she smelt smoke and ran to check what was happening only to find the furnace room engulfed in flames. The two of them were able to get out in time and the wonderful fireman even grabbed their pet fish. Everything else was destroyed. They have lost everything aside from the clothes on their backs.

She recently graduated from the University of Calgary’s Education program and has started her career as a teacher while also working as a yoga instructor. This woman is one of the kindest, hardest working, most caring people I know and she is doing everything to provide for her amazing little boy and herself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as she works to rebuild their lives!
