Love for Linda, not for cancer

Linda Roffel is a long-time resident of Eldred, NY where she resides with her husband and two children. She began working at SUNY Sullivan in 2011 where she has gained great respect and fondness from her colleagues, who also call her a friend.
In 2014, I was personally diagnosed with cancer and Linda was my rock. Having recently gone through her own bouts with cancer, she offered great support, comfort and guidance which I can never repay her for. Now we want to show her the same support.
Linda was diagnosed with Chondrasarcoma in April 2013. Chondrosarcoma is a rare type of cancer that usually begins in the bones, but can sometimes occur in the soft tissue near bones. She has undergone two major surgeries, countless rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She is currently on her second immunotherapy clinical trial. Last year the first trial was unsuccessful. Linda had to make the tough decision to stop working in March 2017 due to countless doctor appointments, treatments, and chronic pain caused by large tumors. She is currently still home concentrating on her recovery. Linda maintains a positive outlook, regardless of the ups and downs of her long cancer battle. Unfortunately, it has become a major financial burden for her and her family. Your generous donation would greatly ease the financial stresses that they are experiencing at this challenging time in their lives.
