Frenchie's Medical Very Rare Cancer

Donación protegida
Hi This is my Husband Frenchie he has been diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Leiomyosarcoma of the Bone.

Leiomyosarcoma is one of the forms of a very rare and aggressive cancer called Sarcoma. Leiomyosarcoma is classified as a soft tissue sarcoma. Sarcomas are malignant tumors that arise from the connective tissue, which connects, supports and surrounds various structures and organs in the body. Soft tissue includes fat, muscle, nerves, tendons, and blood and lymph. Leiomyosarcoma of Bone

Primary leiomyosarcoma of bone is extremely rare. There have been approximately 90 cases reported since initially described in 1965. Many cases that are thought to represent primary disease of bone, after further investigation, actually represent metastatic disease from another site or bony invasion from a neighboring soft tissue lesion. Most cases of leiomyosarcoma of bone reported so far have been in the metaphysis of long bones. These lesions are thought to arise from the smooth muscle cells lining the intraosseous vessels or from pluripotent mesenchymal cells. The histology is the same as leiomyosarcoma of soft tissue. These tumors have an equal or slightly male-predominant gender distribution. The radiographic appearance of these tumors is typically a radiolucent lesion in the metaphysis of a long bone, although the tumor has been described in other locations as well. A permeative appearance is characteristic. There are no specific radiographic features that can diagnose leiomyosarcoma by radiography alone. The exact cause of leiomyosarcoma, including uterine leiomyosarcoma, is unknown. (Copied from Leiomyosarcoma Web Site.)

We have been fighting this cancer for six years now it was in the muscle that attacked his bones he has lost his right leg above the knee so now is an amputee. So he is not only fighting Cancer he is trying to learn how to walk all over again..
We have been able to keep this cancer under control with supplements. Not much is known how to treat this kind of cancer. With all the medical bills that we have now and his supplements, we are praying that you could find it in your hearts to help us out. I am his total care giver. We spend most of our days at the hospital. Thanks for taking the time to read Frenchie Story.
