Medical Expenses for Paul

Donation protected
The Osborne family lead by example. When I met this family, I was blown away by their generous spirits, hard work, and determination to help others. The Osborne family goes above and beyond to serve the community. Anyone who knows them knows this is true.

As an Elementary school principal, Angela saw that there were a tremendous amount of students living in poverty. She took it upon herself to meet their basic needs with clothing closets, food drives, dental programs, and family support. Angela and her family wanted the students to understand gratitude and be responsible members of society, so she also taught them how to write thank-yous and provided an opportunity for them to give back using their God-given talents.
We all have something to give.

I am sharing this because the Osbornes are the type of people that you meet that make you want to do more. They don't just think about good deeds, they get it done. You would never know unless you were observant because they are just as humble as they are kind.

Now this family has been hit with some hard times. Though their Faith is unwavering, it is incredibly difficult and they need our help.

In October Paul Osborne suffered a massive stroke. By the grace of God, he survived and is here today. However, it was touch and go and his rehabilitation is a long and arduous process. There were numerous setbacks that involved going from rehab back to the emergency room. Angela and Conner caught the signs of a blood infection and called 911 just in time. With the wonderful care of the doctors, Paul returned to rehab. Family and loved ones breathed a sigh of relief but it was short lived...Again he was struck with a complication. Paul managed to go from rehab to the intensive care unit 3 times before finally arriving home February 23rd. He is still recovering and will need continued therapy. The days of rehab, ER visits and hospital stays from October to February have produced significant financial hardship.  Angela has been by her husband's side through it all. The financial stress is mounting with bills piling up. Insurance leaves 20 percent to the family.

As things started to return to the closest version of normal, the family got terrible news. Angela's mother became ill and she will also need round the clock care.

Providing round the clock care and therapy for two family members is a tremendous financial undertaking. Angela is one of the strongest women I know. Strong women learn that it is okay to ask for help. Please make a donation to help this family cover the medical expenses for their loved ones. As you know, Emergency care and time in the intensive care unit is very expensive. Paul's care using Visiting Angels will be approximately $2500 a month.  Any amount that you can offer will help to alleviate the mounting stress and will be appreciated more than you know.

Thank you for taking the time to read their story, please share with your friends and family.
