Charlotte was born August 8, 2018 at 7:42 p.m. in Ames, Iowa. Charlotte was born 5 weeks early with an interrupted aortic arch. She was transported to Stead Children's Hospital in Iowa City. 
On September 27, 2018 Charlotte went home to heaven due to complications from her heart condition.
