Everything was stolen...

The woman on the left is Veronica...my best friend. Last week the unthinkable happened. Veronica went to work out at the gym, locked her things in her locker in the locker room, and went to work out. An hour later she comes back to find her lock broken off, her bag hidden in a bathroom stall, and her keys missing. That night some low life stole her car and everything in it. Items included: birth certificate, SS card, class ring, all her favorite clothes, her cowboy boots signed by her favorite country singer, wallet, and much more. Why were all these things in her car you ask? She had just gotten back from out of town and had all her clothes in there because she just finished washing them. And as for the documents they were in a packet to turn in with her police academy application. To make matters worse, her insurance doesn't cover theft and the gym has no cameras anywhere! Therefore, she still owes 13K on a car she doesn't have. It was the trifecta of things that could go wrong.
This woman is the most generous, genuinely kind, most positive person I have had the blessing to have met. She gives money to people who need it when she doesn't have any. She wants to become a police officer to solve cold cases and speak for those who don't have a voice. This woman is the person you call when your car broke down, or if you need a ride in the middle of the night, or if you just need someone to listen. She has had a rough start in life, a lot of things she wasn't prepared for,but she was trying to turn that around this year and now this has made her lose her faith in humanity.
The detective assigned to her case has no leads. Needless to say there we are no closer to finding her things or car. We are chasing a moving needle in a haystack... That being said the likelihood of us finding her car is slim, but the chances of us finding her stuff is almost hopeless.
What troubles me the most is that this could have been preventable, this wasn't an act of mother nature; this was planned and purposeful. I'm trying to raise 15K because she owed 13K and some change still on her car that she will have to pay regardless if we find it or not and the extra 2K for lost and stolen goods that was in her car. Please I need help to have her faith in humanity restored. Anything helps. I'm at a loss of what to do for her and this was my last hope.
