Loulé Cup for Team Wales

Hi, my name is Shannon Ross, I am 16 years old and have been doing gymnastics since I was 4 years old.

Since being with Carmarthenshire School of Gymnastics I have excelled to be the Welsh Champion in my age group a few times, and have had the honour of competing in British Championships (of which I am in the Finals this October).

My coach Shelly Pace has been instrumental in developing me as a gymnast and has always believed in me, encouraging me to do my best and advancing my skills. This has accumulated in me being selected to represent Wales in the Loulé cup in Portugal, also in October.

This trip is self-funded and will be my first international competition with team Wales.

I’ve been very fortunate to have had my parents fund my progression throughout all these years, but as this will be significantly more costly, I am looking to see if I can raise some funds towards it myself to help.

I know times have been difficult for everyone due to covid and the cost of living rising, but if you are able to, I would really appreciate it if you could donate what ever you can afford to help send me to represent my country in an international competition.
