Nicaragua Missions Trip 2023

January 2023
Dear Friends & Family,
In the Summer of 2021 Faith & I were privileged to travel with our church to Nicaragua and serve for fourteen days. Our time there was incredibly impactful on our lives, and the people in the Nindirí community. We both served on the agricultural team while we were there. This involved helping the farming community plant and learn more sustainable ways to provide for their families.
On our first day there we walked around and met nearly 20 families in this farming community. I am writing this letter to let you know that I will once again be traveling to Nicaragua from March 11-18 with a group from Cornerstone Church.
In addition to helping with the agricultural team I will have the opportunity to lead worship in both morning and evening sessions. I am looking forward to serving in this way and to see friends we made on our first visit to Nicaragua. Although, due to prior commitments, Faith will not be able to travel this time. We are hopeful she will be able to make it on a future trip.
We believe God is going to do amazing things during our time in Nicaragua. Our prayers and desires would be that God will open doors to share the truth of the gospel with others, and that not only their community would grow closer to Him, but that our team would have a deeper understanding of who God is as well.
Would you join us in praying for safety during travel and while we are at base camp. We also ask that you pray for both the physical and spiritual health of the team. As you may know, opportunities like this come with many costs. We ask that you also prayerfully consider financially supporting me on this trip. My financial need is $2,500 by Feb 1st. We believe that God will be our provision on this endeavor.
