Studying Abroad in Italy

Hello! For those of you who don't know me: my name is Barbara Gail and I'm a junior studying biomedical sciences at the University of South Florida. This summer I have the opportunity to study abroad in Italy as a member of the "Science in Florence" program which is the opportunity of a life time!! Unfortunately living and studying across the world for a whole summer is not cheap...

In this program I will be studying Biochemistry as well as shadowing medical professionals in Italy, and will be living in Florence, Italy for the duration of the program (June 24th-August 6th 2017). Participating in this program will not only allow me to travel to a country I have never been to (while taking a course required by my major), it will also allow me to make connections with medical professionals and build my resume with experiences that will make me a stronger applicant when I apply to PA school next year.  

The money I raise will go towards my travel expenses and my tuition for the courses I am enrolled in and my deadline to raise this money is June 1st! This will be my first time traveling outside the country and I am so incredibly blessed to even have the opportunity to participate in this program, I just need some financial help to get me there!
