Nashville Tornado Recovery for Connor and Tia
Donation protected
Connor and Tia are Michigan born and raised kids who, like many people in their 20's, decided to venture out into another city and state to make their way in life. Tia chose Nashville a few years ago, and worked her way into an apartment that was truly her pride and joy. It was in the Germantown area of Nashville and was a classic studio apartment in an old brick building that offered her safety and easy access to her job at a popular new restaurant in downtown Nashville called Jason Aldean's Kitchen & Roof top bar. Connor met Tia a year ago, things got serious and he decided to join her, recently securing a job at another downtown Nashville business as an entry level technician. Like every day hard working young people, they enjoyed working hard and walking their dog, Elvis around their newfound living quarters during their leisure time. All of that changed in the wee hours of Tuesday March 3 when they were awakened by the sounds of the deadly tornado that ripped through Germantown and landed on their three story apartment complex with a vengeance. They are now struggling to replace their two cars that were lost and finding a new place to live after the lease company deemed their battered building uninhabitable and terminated the lease. It's been a major setback for this usually sparkly-eyed couple; and the expenses are going to mount more as time goes on. Can you help them rebuild and replace their lost vehicles, income and other living necessities? Being in Tennessee has proven to be even more difficult for relatives all living in Michigan to assist them. Any little bit would help these two get back on their feet as they search for a place to live. The most devastating times often bring out the best in people. A heartfelt thank you in advance for a wonderful community of Facebook friends who encouraged me to set this fund up.
