My Name is Tomara, Im 23 years old and I'm one of those typical, struggling college students that you often hear about. Im a junior now, and I cant wait to finally finish so I can hopefully get into the job market so I can finally do my part in repaying my mom for all of her selflessness throughout my life.
My mom has been doing everything she can to keep food on the table and a roof over my family's head since the start. 5 years ago she bought her home here in Baltimore, and we all pitched in to rennovate the urban fixer-upper. But we recently got some bad news. The government is ready to take my mom's home over a property tax fee of 2,500 dollars, which for us...is a huge number. Currently she doesnt have that amount of money on hand to pay Immediately. Not even my contributions from my part time job could make a big enough difference. We have until the 28th of February to come up with this amount before they ultimately take her home. A donation from anyone, no matter how small would be a great help to my mom.
