Mike and Kathy lost everything in Berry Creek fire

On Tuesday, September 8, fire ripped through the small community of Berry Creek where our family owns 2 small cabins on a shared property.  My son Mike lives there full time with his girlfriend and their sweet pup, Lucy (pictured).  The 3 of them were away from the cabin when the evacuation order was given and could not return to grab belongings or their 3 cats. They lost everything, and have very immediate need for clothes, food, and supplies for Lucy.    They are now getting support from the Red Cross but next week will have to move from there and will have to pay out of pocket for their lodging .
