Lynsi & Bill's Flooded House Fund
Donation protected
On Friday, March 2nd, after coming home from a joyous family wedding, Lynsi and Bill found their entire basement underwater.
Their basement is where they do most of their living though- that's where their bedroom is and their 2 sons' playroom is down there. Plus, their laundry room, bathroom, and storage/utility room are also located in their now ruined basement.
Of course they have insurance- and just like any great insurance coverage... insurance will not cover any of the damage because the word "sewer" was not in the flood insurance policy.
Everything is trashed, especially because Lynsi and her 2 sons have asthma and even the littlest mold spore could cause a respiratory crisis for them.
The drywall, carpeting, furniture, refrigerator, TVs, window AC units, computer, toys - all must be trashed and somehow replaced. Plus countless other things, as one can imagine, including some irreplaceable memories.
So, if you could, please donate to help out a wonderful family that we all know would do the same for any of us if we were in their shoes. (A pic of some of the water damage on one of the bathroom doors)
