Lynn Trembley Memorial

Our mom, Lynn Trembley passed away unexpectedly in her home the morning of January 24. To say we are shocked is an understatement. Our dad’s wife and companion of 56 years is just gone. Lynn held Dave’s world together - tracking doctor appointments, grocery shopping, cooking, and paying bills. Instead of flowers we are asking for you to please donate to help Dave with funeral costs. Any donations above expenses will be used to support Dave. We are grateful for and humbled by your generosity.

Lynn’s obituary:

Mary Lynn (nee Drankie) Trembley of Palos Heights, formerly of Burbank, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Monday, January 24.

Lynn was born August 24, 1946. She married her husband, Dave Trembley, on July 2, 1966. Together they raised their three children: Jeff Trembley, Michelle Pena, and Krissy (Brian) Toenjes. Lynn was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren: Jordan, Kyle, and Taylor Trembley; Tyler (Kelsey) Pena; Haden, Callan, and Charlotte Toenjes; and two great grandsons: Giovanni Mancari and Liam Pena.

Lynn was a generous and kind-hearted woman who loved watching the birds out her window. Her kitchen was always open for a cup of coffee and a conversation. Most of all, Lynn’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Lynn is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Beverly Snyder; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dave Drankie.

Family and friends will celebrate Lynn’s life from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, January 28, at Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 State Road, Burbank.
