Lynn Locke was taken from our world on Sunday, July 16, 2017 after a battle with cancer.
Lynn was a member of the Leadership Grand Rapids Class 2017, #thebiggeststrongestbestclassever
This fund is to honor her memory and be received by future LGR women of color or individuals with disabilities. Each member is encouraged to contribute at least $55 (this will get us to $2,000 and cover processing fees). Higher donations are welcomed to ensure we can cover a full ride or at least five $500 scholarships.

She obtained a bachelors degree in Urban Administration from the University of Cincinnati and was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Lynn most recently resided in Grand Rapids, MI where she was employed as the Advocacy Program Manager at Disability Advocates, and served on the Board of Directors for Campfire/4C. Survived by daughters, Randi and Morgan Locke; mother Jean Barber; stepfather William Barber; siblings, Rodney, Karen, and Carmen McClain; former husband Randolph Locke; stepson Aaron Wright.
