LYNETTE'S FIGHT AGAINST MENINGIOMA BRAIN TUMOUR
As Lynette Bowdens daughter myself Kym Venning, I am trying to raise much needed funds for my mums operation!
Lynette Bowden is a young 50 year old Wife, Mum & Grandmother, of three daughters and 4 grandchildren which will continue to grow,
she couldn't have expected that she may not see them grow up.
In late 2019 Lynette went to the doctors with headaches, memory loss, fainting, vision loss, along with vomiting and stabbing pains in her head to name a few. She was turned away a few times after being told that it was just sinus or viral related. It took serval more visits and some convincing but some test were finally taken. Two days before Christmas 2019 Lynette got the call that she had been dreading! She raced to the hospital to get the news that she has a VERY rare Brain Tumor, An aggressive Meningioma. She was told by the Queensland specialist that it was to risky for them to operate and there was nothing more they could do but monitor and help manage with pain relief.
This was clearly not good enough for Lynette and her family, so they rallied and organised a visit with a Major Brain Surgeon, Dr. Charlie Teo in Sydney, NSW.
Dr. Charlie Teo has advised our mum needs to have surgery and is going to perform a Craniotomy on Lynette to not only save her eye sight.....but in the hope to save her life! With a window of 6 weeks to perform the surgery if she is to stand a chance, and a bill in excess of $100k...… we are now in desperate need to raise some funds. We are looking for your help and generosity to keep our mum alive. It may only give her a few more years with us all, but to us … every extra day is a blessing. xx
