To all my family and friends and all those who have supported us through the years. I'm trying to help my amazing mother. Some of you know her story, others do not. Her name is Lydia and she has been battling stage 4 cancer for 7 years. She has been positive through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her faith has helped her battle so many obstacles. She has had many procedures and has to have treatment and transfusions every 21 days, and in between, she gets shots to keep her blood levels up. She has continued to fight like the warrior she is.
Unfortunately, back in 2023, while on leave due to her health, she was let go from her job. Little did she know the issues were not caused by migraines, which turned out to be a detached retina in her right eye. She went into emergency surgeries which failed. She had 2 surgeries after that. Even though they were able to save her eye, she still can't see.
After 2 years of not being able to see or drive and having balance issues, she may be able to regain some vision. However, the amount she needs is more than we can afford at the moment. She is caring for me and my grandfather, who may have surgery, and I myself am healing from surgery not that long ago. I'm asking if you have it in your heart and can donate, we would be forever grateful. Anything helps. We appreciate all of you
