Help Heal Alyssa's Heart

Our beautiful daughter Alyssa was born on Jan 30th 2015 at 12:37am. She weighed in at 7lbs 10oz, 20 3/4" long. It wasn't soon after she was born, the doctor discovered that something was wrong with her heart. We were transported to the NICU at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, ME. She was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot. This condition will require her to have open-heart surgery in a few, short months.
Now that we are finally home, she needs to be closely monitored, kept warm, calm, and most of all, kept germ free and away from any sickness. She will have multiple cardiologist appointments in Portland and in-home visits 2-3 times a week to help monitor and determine exactly when her surgery will be. The longer we can wait for the surgery, the better of her survival rate.
With all that is going on and coming up, only one of us is able to work to pay bills while the other stays home to take care of Alyssa and our two other children. Needless to say, our savings are quickly diminishing and it will only become more difficult as time passes.
