Triskal's Study Abroad Fundraiser

Hello and thank you for visiting my fund.
My name is Triskal deHaven, and I have recently been honored with the opportunity to study in Italy this summer! However, as a full-time college student, I cannot afford to cover the cost of the trip. I applied for and was awarded the partial scholarship from Columbia State Community College. Here is an excerpt from my glowing recommendation letter provided by Lacey Benns-Owens, an Associate Professor of Speech.
"Triskal is an excellent candidate for study abroad. He is serious and passionate about his academics and works hard to maintain his 4.0 GPA. He is one of the rare students who studies ahead, reads all of his textbooks, and enjoys learning."
The Partial Scholarship offered by Columbia State Community College goes towards the Study Abroad program offered by the Tennessee Consortium for International Studies (AKA TnCIS). It pays for roughly half of the total cost, which is almost $5000.
The Study Abroad Program is from May 11th to June 1st, 2015. I have the chance to travel through Tuscany, visiting Rome, Siena, and Florence. I would be able to sample real Italian food, which is my favorite type of food, and to see the amazing landscape Italy has to offer. I will also be able to experience a once in a lifetime chance to hike the uncanny trail in Cinque Terre, which is nearly untouched by industrialization. During the entire program, I will be learning about Italian culture, and history.

I am asking for $2000. $1500 to finish off paying for the trip, and $500 to cover food, school supplies, and miscellaneous expenses during the three weeks abroad.
