Charlotte Reese isn't feeling so well. In the last few days, doctors have discovered a malignant tumor on her little liver. The tumor is too large to safely remove at this moment. She will undergo a biopsy on Monday February 9th to determine the status of the tumor. She will likely begin chemotherapy later in the week to try and shrink the tumor.
Charlotte is being cared for at Payton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Her parents (Cari and Mo Cambridge) live more than an hour away, and have two small boys (Theodore and Franklin) who are in school and will require supplemental care while they are away with Charlotte.
While they do have health insurance, it's fair to assume they will incur medical expenses plus the cost of gas for daily trips, food while out of the home, and additional expenses for the care of their boys while they are away.
