LV18 Restoration Fund

Following on from the horrific arson attack on the LV18 some two nights ago, money is being raised to restore this historic light vessel museum, the last of her kind.

This much loved visitor attraction in the town of Harwich suffered a devastating fire on the second of February during a spate of arson incidents in the town but she is determined to come back fighting.

The Pharos Trust had just launched her 24/7 radio station this Christmas and wants to get back to it in time for the 60th anniversary of Radio Caroline this Easter.

This nationally and internationally important historic light vessel the last one of the trinity House fleet that was manned was lovingly restored by volunteers for 12 years and has since 2012 been in her permanent berth on the key side at Harwich by the historic Ha'Penny pier and attracted many visitors to the area to view it's historic Maritime and Pirate Radio artifacts.
