Hello everyone,
Our beloved Luz "Mama Luz" Marasigan passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 6, 2020. In light of the current COVID conditions, we understand that many of you may not be able to physically attend her visitation and your thoughts and heartfelt messages have been wonderful and very much appreciated.
This page has been set up for those who wish to make a donation for Mama Luz's final expenses. We understand that many families are experiencing economic challenges during this time so any contributions are greatly appreciated and we are extremely grateful.
Our Mama Luz was a big fan of the Chicago sports teams and especially enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs (Kris Bryant is her favorite player!). She enjoyed walking around Horner Park, reading her books by the window, gardening, cooking for our family and was loved by her neighbors. She leaves behind her son Boyet, daughter-in-law Maria, grandchildren CJ, JC (Jenn), Michael, and Stephanie and her beloved great-granddaughters Mila and Lyla Luz and her scruffy canine companions Snickers and Max. Mama Luz was our angel on earth and we will miss her wonderful birthday cards, her pancit for each of our birthdays, her hilarious sense of humor and especially celebrating the holidays together at her Condo.

Burial - Monday, Dec 14th
Funeral Home - 10:30 am start procession to Burial site scheduled for 12:00
Rosehill Cemetery
Western and Bryn Mawr
Limited to 10 people at gravesite. Guests driving in the procession should remain in their vehicles.
