Carrie Lord needs a double lung transplant. The 33 year old woman from east Saint John has Cystic Fibrosis and needs a double lung transplant.
She only has 20% lung function. She receives oxygen and food through tubes to keep her strong while she waits.
Once a pair of lungs are found that is a match for Carrie, she'll be ready to receive them right away. That means having to stay in Toronto.
Carrie needs help to cover the costs of travel and staying in Toronto so that she can get the treatment she needs.
