LUNG TRANSPLANT: Out of Pocket Expenses

Hi,  My name is Tina Gilluly.  I'm starting this fundraiser because my friend, Denise DiScuillo has to have a double lung transplant.  She will be going to the Medical University of South Carolina for the surgery.  She'll be in the hospital for about 3 months, and will require 24/7 care. I will become her primary caretaker and her daughter will be secondary.   MUSC requires us to relocate to Charleston for the duration until Denise is able to go home.   Although insurance will cover the hospital bill, we need help with lodging, transportation, food, any prescriptions  or services not covered by insurance .  Denise goes back to meet with the transplant team on June 28th, and hopefully, they will put her on the list. At that time, we must be able to show them that we have the funding for everything.  So you can see how urgent this is.   We hope and pray you'll be able to help. Any amount will help, and also since we have 3 months, it gives time for multiple donation, if you can't give all at once.   And let me just say, it is extremely important that Denise have this transplant, She's had multiple bouts with pneumonia, which weakens her lungs more each time.  God bless you and Thank you in advance.  Also, please share!!!!!!!!
