Lung Transplant for Tim Davis

Donation protected
In February of 2019, Tim Davis, formerly of Tim’s Appliance Service, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. This disease has no earthly cure and progresses until the lungs can no longer take in needed oxygen. Over the past year, Tim, has become worse and his lung capacity has been diminished by 50%. His only hope of a quality life is a double lung transplant. After many tests and trips to Duke, Tim got the good news that Duke had accepted him into their lung transplant program. As part of his transplant process he and wife, Dixie, will have to move to Durham for approximately six months. Our hope is that this fund will support whatever is not supported by insurance and will help with living expenses while in Durham. We know the road ahead is not going to be easy or quick, but Tim is determined to do what it takes to make his journey to recovery. Please pray for the family in the months to come and we thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
