Help For Baby Luna and Family

Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to read this. My name is Nicole and I am aunt to the beautiful baby girl named Luna still snuggled inside her mommy's tummy. Tyler, Andrea, and their 3 year old daughter Paytyn were excited to find out they are expecting an addition to their family in March 2020. Recently doctors found that little miss Luna isnt growing quite as big as she should be. Yesterday, January 27th, in Marshfield doctors determined Luna has a serious and rare congenital heart defect. After some testing, they believe she has Truncus Arteriosus - where a single blood vessel exits the heart instead of the normal two, oxygenated and non-oxygenated blood will mix causing critical problems in other main organs of the body. They also believe she has "Catch-22" aka DiGeorge Syndrome, a rare defect in chromosome 22 which can cause a variety of very serious issues. It is expected that, at only 35weeks, Andrea will very soon need to undergo a Csection so heart surgery can be performed on Luna as soon as possible in hopes to increase her chance of survival. Tomorrow Tyler and Andrea will travel to the Twin Cities for more testing to further determine what issues are being faced and best plan of action. The family anticipates a rapid accumulation of unforeseen expenses that they could really use help with: medical, travel, loss of wages, childcare for Paytyn, etc. etc. Right now they really need to focus everything they can on Luna, so anything we can do to help ease their other burdens would be a blessing! What the future holds for little Luna is very uncertain but the family is doing their best to remain positive and hopeful. Your prayers are greatly appreciated and if you can, please share.
