Lunar Escape is the brainchild of Mike Spencer, Mike Elliott and Bill Moyer. We recognize that for many years, Alamogordo and the surrounding area has had a vacuum of quality entertainment. The collective population has asked for this vacuum to be filled and we hear them loud and clear! We conceived Lunar Escape as an entertainment venue for the entire family ranging from very young children to retirees. Alamogordo and the surrounding areas do not deserve a place where they just go to play games and relax, they deserve the very best! We understand that what customers want when they spend their entertainment dollars has evolved over the years. In the 1980's and 1990's, arcades and entertainment venues provided a place where people could go to unwind and play games. This was perfect for that time when viewed through the lens of where technology was in that period. With the rise of home entertainment options and advances in technology, consumers still greatly desire to 'get out' and play, but their focus now is on experiences. The want immersive, emotional connections to their entertainment and Lunar Escape is ready to provide that for the entire family! We want to encourage individuals and families to put their personal devices away for a time and enjoy these entertainment experiences together!
This business is focused on benefiting the community not only in Alamogordo and surrounding areas, but also the Airmen and families at nearby Holloman AFB.
Detail of what the funds will be used for
• After raising $600,000 we can apply for a loan from the bank to cover building acquisition and build out.
• Ideally, we would raise the entire $2million from investors and contributors to do the entire build-out.
• Building Acquisition = $550,000
• Building construction and supplies = $454,700
• Two (2) Uniquely Themed Escape Rooms, Helios Laser Tag Equipment and Arena, two (2) Uniquely Themed Black Light Miniature Nine Hole Courses, two (2) MaxFlight FS-VC Simulators, four (4) Virtuix Omni Virtual Reality Stations, twelve Station (12) X-box One and PC Gaming and Tournament Arena, redemption and arcade games, children's play area including an indoor playground and projection Beam play stations. We have meticulously chosen vendors who will provide us with the best experiences through our attractions. YOU deserve the BEST! Total for attractions = $995,300
To move forward in a timely manner we would need the funds by April 15th to secure the bank loan and ensure the vendors will still be able to work with us this year to bring the desired attractions to Alamogordo.
Growing up in Alamogordo we wished there was more to do for families in the way of a themed family entertainment facility. Lunar Escape will fill that void. Helping to rebuild healthy family, social and community interaction is a top priority. We will be returning a portion of our profits right back to our community! This includes examples such as food banks, housing for our homeless veterans, schools and more! Lunar Escape is also committed to forging lasting partnerships with other businesses in the area. Mutual business promotion means everyone wins!
We have generous repayment plans for investors who give over $100,000. For smaller contributors over $1,000 we offer a free membership that affords 15% off every visit for life. We would love to sit down to a cup of coffee with you to go over in more detail what we want to bring to the people of Alamogordo.
