Help Luna Fight cancer



For the ones that have had the chance to meet Luna they know for a fact that she is the most loving, caring and happiest dog in the world. She is full of many personalities and is there for anyone when they need her. Luna is 6 Years old and is a Siberian Husky. Luna has been there for my  family and I when we needed her. She helped my dad by keeping him company at all times when he was diagnosed and going through his sever cluster headaches. She was there for my mom when my family split up and kept her company. And now she is currently there for me when ever im having hard times.  This past two weeks have been the hardest for my family and for Luna. We found out a month ago that she had a mass in her anal gland. Luna had to get x-rays and ultrasounds before her surgery. On one of the the ultra sounds we saw that the mass had spread to her lymphnodes in her tummy. Luna had a surgery to remove the mass on the anal gland and had to have her lymphnodes removed as well. They sent her mass to get a biopsy and the test came back positive for adenocarcinoma, Anal Sac.  We would have never thought that she had this desease because Luna was highly active and happy as always. She was not showing any symptoms of strain while using the bathroom and was acting normal. This all happened fast and we found out when we took her for her 6 month comprehention at the vet.   After the surgery the surgeon mentioned our case to the hospitals oncologist. The oncologist let us know Luna was a good candidate to recieve chemo therapy so get her to remision. A female huskies Life expentancy   is 15 years and up. Luna is only 6 years old. She has many years to live and continue to be be the happy dog that she is and also bring people joy.  Since Luna has to get chemo plus xrays and ultrasounds every three months to track her progress the cost of the treatment is 10,000. Unfortunatley this is a burden for many families that cannot afford treatments like these and that is the reason why i had to make this gofundme. I already took a loan out for 4,000 for her first surgery and i cannot get approved for any more loans. I ask the help of all my family and friends to please donate or pray to help  keep Luna alive. Many of you know that I dont see Luna as just a dog. I see her as my fur baby and we are ready to fight this cancer but I cant do it on my own.   It's my turn to do something for my princess as she has done for my family and I these past 6 years.
