Hey! My name is Luki and I’m a transgender artist living and working in Berlin.

It took me some time to realize how much I am really struggling with gender dysphoria every day. Dysphoria is invisible and painful and very hard to explain to someone not experiencing it.

FFS is difficult to explain to a lot of people. It’s not an operation to make me more beautiful, it only eliminates the masculine features in my face, so I can be recognized as more feminine-presenting. It will make daily struggles with discrimination, anxiety and paranoia more tolerable. It will help my body dysphoria and general mental health immensely.

After starting Hormon Replacement Therapy (HRT) I am preparing for my second big step of my transition, which is the Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS).

What is Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS)?

FFS is a set of surgical procedures that alter typically male facial features to bring them closer in shape and size to typical female facial features. It reshapes forehead, brows, nose, as well as minimize the appearance of the Adam's apple (tracheal shave). I have consulted with doctors at Facialteam in Spain, a place that was highly recommend to me.

The surgeries can relieve the effects of body and gender dysphoria.

I need your help

These transitioning costs are unaffordable for my foreseeable future. Getting FFS done will vastly improve my mental health. It will alleviate my day-to-day struggle of anxiety and paranoia. So I’m asking for monetary assistance from anyone who is willing to help. All funds will be used only for my transition and absolutely any amount helps! Even 5€!
