Luke's Trip to Recovery
Donation protected
On 8/18/18 my brother, Luke McMillen, was hit head on by another driver on Hwy 20 near his home. Luke's daughter (3) and several of my other brothers were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. All but two occupants of the vehicle were injured; Luke's injuries are the most serious. Fortunately, Luke's daughter was not seriously injured. One of my brothers was taken to Omaha and is in stable condition. Please keep him in your prayers.
Luke's left leg bore the brunt of the collision and was shattered. He was transferred to Sioux City and has undergone surgery to stabilize the leg. He has a very long road to recovery with several surgeries in his future. Please pray as he undergoes the recovery process and also pray that he is able to recover fully.
Luke is a carpenter by trade and is the sole breadwinner for his family. Work has been slow for Luke's employer lately and he has only been able to work partial days, if at all. Any carpenter understands how these things work and understand how tight finances can be sometimes.
As a father myself, I can understand the pressure to provide for my family. I can only imagine the fear and uncertainty of the future that Luke is experiencing right now. Please consider helping ease the financial burden on Luke and his family while he undergoes the surgeries and time needed to heal over the next couple of months.
