Luke Stempuzis GoFundMe

On Thursday, March 21st, 2024 Luke along with two of his friends (Michael and Morgan) were in an Uber in Buffalo, NY after attending a concert when they were struck by another vehicle.

Morgan tragically lost her life and Michael is recovering from the injuries he sustained.

Upon arriving at the hospital Luke underwent surgery to stop internal bleeding in his abdomen and remove his spleen which had been damaged. His injuries are extensive and he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. His kidneys are damaged, his ribs, jaw, and collarbone are broken, and most of the right side of his body & part of his pelvis are fractured. He has a large wound covering his entire abdomen & several on his head. He sustained a brain injury which has put additional pressure on his brain which they are continuing to monitor. Luke remains sedated and in critical condition in the ICU.

There are still a lot of unknowns at this time with what his recovery will look like. We know he will not return home or to work anytime soon. This fundraiser has been created for those who wish to offer monetary support throughout this journey.
