Anna's medical fund

Hey everyone. I'm trying to raise money for pay for Anna's medical expenses. Anna is my cat and I've had her for the past 8 years, after a friend's relative found her on the street and was unable to keep her. She is extremely friendly, charming and demanding of food/attention.

Anna was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 from a tumor on her mammary track. She had surgery to remove the tumor and we watched her carefully, hoping it wouldn't come back. About a month ago, we noticed some bumps on her stomach and a bloody scab on one of her nipples. I took her in to see a new vet (one that my friends had told me would help students out and arrange payment plans) and they confirmed that her cancer has returned. This time, the surgery will be to remove an entire mammary track from one side of her body. Additionally, she has a secondary cancer in her abdomen, lymphoma. They think they've caught it early enough and they are optimistic it can be treated with oral medication to give her a happier, more comfortable life.

The veterinarian as been very kind with understanding my financial situation as a student and has agreed to work out a payment plan. I've already scheduled her surgery due to her cancer being very aggressive and time sensitive.
